Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA MYMRYK On Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at Riverview Health Centre, Anna Mymryk, aged 88 years. Anna leaves to celebrate her life, her daughter Sylvia (William) Prokopanko of Winnipeg; son Lawrence Szurgot of Barrie, ON; grandson Lawrence (Cheryl) Prokopanko and great-grandchildren, Adam and Erin of Winnipeg; granddaughter Teresa (Douglas) Petriw and great-granddaughter Michelle of Lethbridge, AB. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers and two sisters of Ukraine. Anna was born July 8, 1913 in Karashenchi, Western Ukraine. She immigrated to Canada in 1930 and worked as a seamstress in Winnipeg. Anna loved animals and enjoyed gardening. She took great pride in cooking for her family. Anna has left her family many precious memories in the fine needlework she created. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 14 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St., with Rev. N. Yakiwchuk officiating. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the palliative care unit of Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg.
